The Strange State of Anti-Piracy – Switzerland vs Sweden
Two pieces of news surfaced today that illustrates a strange dichotomy in European anti-piracy policies.
Sweden has announced plans to charge the people running Pirate Bay, one of the world’s largest file sharing servers. Pirate Bay serves as a directory of downloadable content such as movies and music, much of which is copyrighted.
Switzerland meanwhile announced that it has warned Logistep, a company that tracks P2P downloads and reports them to copyright holders for possible prosecution, that it’s Internet monitoring activities are illegal in Switzerland.

Just hope people start waking up too the Full Story here. Piracy is one issue, it’s the tactics of obtaining the information, (for who’s use) that has to be observed.
