Hackers Break into FAA Air Traffic Control Mission-Support Systems
US Federal Aviation Administration computers have been hacked into several times the recent years, according to the Inspector General. In February 2009, hackers got into an FAA computer and used it to gain access to personal information of 48,000 current and former FAA employees.

Playing (hacking) in to our A.T.C. control systems is a serious security breach. Being former military , U.S. Army an crewed a UH-1 “HUEY”. A helicopter can land any where it wants , no run way required . The public must be reminded , terrorist don not discriminate . It come’s in all shapes and sizes. It can happen at any time an any place in the world. That’ why they are called terrorist.

Interesting findings of what had happened, it just proves in this day and age of modern electronics (stealth) we as daily users of the world wide web have to protect our selves. And now we have the IRON KEY , and I use it all the time . Well 99.98% of the time. Don’t leave home with out it , its not expensive and very easy to use .

Why the heck would critical FAA systems even be connected on the open internet? Why would they in any way be connected to the outward facing systems? Who’s the idiot in charge of desinging their infrastructure?
